This encourages all students to train professionally as a company and will ensure everyone is getting the same level of training in multiple styles and techniques. There will be a variety of instructors in specific technical styles to really develop a stronger hip hop foundation, build up cardio/endurance while focusing on how to perform. In addition to the dance component, this program will also feature monthly specialized courses such as improv and lifestyle design. These classes will be the most valuable for students to challenge themselves in other avenues of life which all contribute to building self confidence, focus and increasing the performance range of the dancer. Every team training class will follow the same format: physical fitness, core strength training, groove and drills, style and technical training. Dancers are only allowed to enroll in team training if you have been selected for a 3SB Team.
Our vision has taken us to a place where we have become so much more than a dance studio and, as such, we will continually be adding things to our programming which aim to develop our students into future leaders. This is why we are launching a program called Lifestyle Design.
Once every quarter we will be hosting unique seminars for our students to learn about life skills and other essential areas of life & “growing up”. We hope to create inclusive and engaging discussions on subjects often left out of the school curriculum and every day conversation. Each seminar will hopefully challenge our way of thinking and inspire us to pursue our true passions by studying the techniques of today’s successful leaders/innovators. We will be inviting guest speakers and touch on several topics including: CONFIDENCE/IMPROV * MONEY/DEBT * MOTIVATION/WISDOM * LEADERSHIP/INNOVATION * KNOWLEDGE/UNDERSTANDING, SUCCESS/FAILURE/FEARS, and TECHNOLOGY.
Our vision sees this expanding to weekly programming for Teen and Adults. We hope to see you all at each seminar as they are announced!
