Over the past five years, Hip Hop for Hope has succeeded in raising over $87 000 towards helping children in need and this year our goal is to raise $35 000! With the help of over 500 performers from dance studios, professional dance crews, singers, musicians, and variety acts, we hope to push the message: “Youth Giving back to Youth” and inspire communities to get involved in giving back.
Only in a united effort to change the world can we truly make a difference.
This would bring HHH to a total of over $110 000 raised since 2003!! The cause, however, extends further than donating money but rather to unite, under one banner, talented youth from across the Canada. Our performers are proud representatives of True Hip Hop: an art form made up of more than just dancing but rather a way of life that encompasses music, self-esteem and attitude. Hip hop unites all classes, all races, and both genders while allowing for innumerable modes of expression to shine.

A 3rd Street Beat Entertainment annual benefit concert in support of The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation seeks to promote the message of “youth giving back to youth”. Each year local youth from around AB & BC join creative forces to bring a unique and dynamic dance production to the Winspear Centre. We believe the youth of today CAN make a difference for the youth of tomorrow. It just takes one…. will you join us in The Future?
