Artists Emerge is an all hip hop and dance competition with the purpose of supporting and revealing Canada’s top talent emerging from the hip-hop culture; street and studio trained dancers alike. This competition will highlight original Hip-Hop styles of Popping, Locking and Breaking while also providing a look into the commercial dance scene found in music videos today which showcases the many different interpretations of modern day Hip-Hop.
This competition encourages and motivates dedication towards the arts in Canada, ultimately building recognition and opportunity for the Art of Expression through dance. Altogether, AE provides major entertainment and educational value for participants and audience alike by showcasing all elements of hip-hop and bringing awareness about its positive impact on the youth of today. Artists Emerge puts youth in the right place, at the right time, with the right people while fostering the attitude of an ICON.
